
Our Rum Barrel Fermented Smoked Jalapeño Hot Sauce is our once-a-year limited and most-coveted hot sauce. We create it with maple wood smoked Vermont red jalapeños that are mashed, brined and loaded into a St. Johnsbury Distillery Rum barrel to ferment. The fermentation process introduces a layer of complexity that complements the heat and flavor of the peppers, creating a sauce that is as versatile as it is distinctive.
