Cold Hollow Cider Mill

Founded in 1974, Cold Hollow Cider Mill has been serving up smiles one refreshing glass of cider and delectable cider donut at a time. Situated on Route 100 between Waterbury and Stowe, Vermont, Cold Hollow is one of the most-visited attractions in Vermont, offering guests a glimpse into the fascinating world of traditional cider making, utilizing a century-old, rack-and-cloth press. No visit to Cold Hollow is complete without tasting their cider, munching contentedly on a cider donut, watching the artisans in the bakery, observing the honeybee hive, enjoying a tasty breakfast or lunch in the café, playing cornhole on the lawn and enjoying a Vermont maple creemee.

Owner Dan Snyder and his wife Chelsea invite you to visit the 19th century farmhouse and historic dairy barn that house their cider mill, bakery, retail store, café, mail order and wholesale operations. It's reminiscent of Vermont’s rich agricultural history and the tradition of quality and purity for which Vermont is known. This heritage fires the imaginations and fuels the passions of those who work at Cold Hollow as they seek to steward our resources for future generations by sourcing locally and sustainably, showcasing their delicious products and those of many other small Vermont businesses.
